R.O.M.E., the Association for the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises abroad, includes the finest examples of the Italian food industry and, with them, is a leading figure in a major new project. Gourmet China provides the meeting point between two great cultures, following the trading exchange which Marco Polo began centuries ago. Times have changed, but the desire for mutual understanding and joint economic growth remains just the same.
This is why the companies taking part in the project are also ambassadors for the Italian food culture: as well as their produce, they bring with them many recipes which are carefully and skilfully prepared and accompany our traditional products in order thus to win over the finest Chinese palates.
